Microsoft officially launched VPN on Microsoft Edge Chromium in May 2022, where Edge VPN is also known as "Secure Network," and is now available for Microsoft Edge Canary users.

Friends, there is some interesting news regarding this Edge VPN that recently came from one of the Reddit users @ Leopeva64-2 on Reddit, where previously Edge VPN was only available with 1 GB of bandwidth per month, but now Microsoft offers 15 GB of bandwidth per month.

Regarding this, 1 GB / month initially appeared to be insufficient, but perhaps due to a large amount of feedback, Microsoft has now added it.

This change comes with the release of Edge Canary v110.0.1563.0, which allows users to use Edge VPN with more data. Unfortunately, this change is only available to certain users, so not all users have received it.

In the future, perhaps there will be a paid version that allows us to use more bandwidth than the free version provided by Microsoft, and of course, perhaps this is part of Microsoft's business by selling their VPN service on Microsoft Edge, but we'll have to wait and see.
