Microsoft is working to improve the integration of Outlook and Microsoft Teams.

According to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap page, Microsoft appears to be working on an Outlook upgrade that will include improved integration between Outlook and Teams.

The integration allows users to access Teams chats directly from Outlook Meetings, but it is unclear what this feature will look like other than the fact that it will improve the experience of sending messages or viewing chats from Microsoft Teams in Outlook.

According to Microsoft, "this feature provides an easy Teams chat experience from Outlook in the context of a meeting for participants to send a quick message or review the chat."

Until now, Microsoft Teams integration has been almost universal across all Microsoft services, including Windows 11, and Teams already has a simple integration in Outlook, where users can open chats in a separate browser window.

However, with the increased integration that will be presented, the communication experience will be improved and automatic without the need to switch tabs and applications.

Oh, and the availability of this feature will begin to be announced in March 2023, and of course, this feature may be useful for you Outlook and Microsoft Teams users.
